All employees who carry loads are intended to take this manual handling course. The anatomy of the spine and effective manual handling techniques are among the subjects discussed. Course Description  ➔Legislation  ➔Risk Assessment for Ergonomics Hazard Identification ➔Practical Lifting Principles: Pushing, Pulling, Moving, Lifting, and Carrying. Outcomes of Learning ➔Determine whether a certain manual handling task is dangerous or safe. ➔Give advice on precautions that can lower the chance of injury ➔Safely lift and move loads
